Oy Finnlumber Ltd. has been selling Finnish sawn timber, planed wood, finger joint, laminated wood and log houses since 1993. During these years the company has been growing steadily. Our main markets are: Israel, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Pakistan, Holland and Belgium.

Since 2004 Finnlumber has been exporting sawn timber from different areas in Russia.

Finland is one of the most important forest industry centers in the world.  The slow growing, durable spruce (Picea abies) and pine (Pinus sylvestris) timber is known for its high quality.  The   close-grained and straight Finnish wood is beautiful and durable, preserving its appearance and characteristics for decades. Finnish sawn timber is particularly suitable for furniture, interior decoration, paneling, doors and windows. 

Finnish sawn timber, based on a raw material grown in the Northern part of Europe, is known for its good quality and dense annual rings. Therefore the Finnish stress graded goods reach high strength classes and can be used in demanding end-uses.

Russian timber is famous for its high density and quality. Rather severe climatic conditions in Russia causes quite slow wood growth that leads to the narrow-ringed structure of timber. According to the European standards the annual ring growth for the high quality coniferous timber should not exceed 4mm. Russian timber in general has annual ring growth about 1.1-3mm.
